Tom Howard and Doug Cole are the 2025 Big Sandy Creek Bass Club Champions!! The Bass Cat Boat team stuck a big fish early on a chatterbait and had to grind for the rest of their bites like the rest of the field. Second Place by ounces went to Charlie Barnes and Matt Ling. Barnes was the only angler to catch a limit and Doug Cole caught the BIG Bass of the event, a 6.44 lbs. Lake Austin lunker that had Joe Sciuto shaking in his boots. Joe held on to win the BBOY for 2025 and Charlie "Bassmaster" Barnes wins the AOY once again, adding another trophy to the mantle! The first tournament of the year will be on Fayette in January. Happy New Year and see you all there!

Meeting:
Next meeting will be at Uncle Buck's at Bass Pro Shops in Round Rock, TX on Mon. Jan. 5, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The Big Sandy Creek Bass Club will discuss the Lake Austin Club Championship results. Details for the first tournament of 2026 on Fayette County Reservoir will also be nailed down. Charlie Barnes pulls away on Limestone and is an odds on favorite to win the AOY title and Joe's Inks Lake lunker is still holding on for the 2025 BIG Bass Of the Year.
