Justin & Dustin Hallmark take Travis! The Hallmark boys started in an area of the lake that was fairly new to them and it paid off. In one pass the team put 5 better than average keepers in the boat. While Dustin relied on a fluke the majority of the day, Justin fished a popper, fluke, shakeyhead, and swimbait late to secure his limit. Zac Stacy & Brandon Martinez finish in Second Place Saturday!! Brandon also managed to bag the BIG Bass of the event, 5.19 lbs. The team stated their spot was changing due to the falling lake levels but it still held enough fish for key bites thanks to deep water access nearby. These guys are always a threat on Lake Travis. The Big Sandy Creek Bass Club will visit Stillhouse Hollow in October for Stop #10. Tougher than normal fishing reports have been submitted recently but rain & cooler temps are on the way. Hopefully this will get the fish fired up!

Meeting:

Next meeting will be at Uncle Buck's at Bass Pro Shops in Round Rock, TX on Mon. Oct. 5, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The Big Sandy Creek Bass Club will discuss the Lake Travis results and details for our October tournament on Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir. Tales from the Trails will be discussed. Doug Cole's BIG Bass Of the Year is still holding strong while current Angler Of the Year race leader; Justin Hallmark, is looking to break the 200 lbs. mark in 2026. Bunch of fishing left for the BSCBC!
