Toby Tucker drops 20 lbs. on 'em at Dunlap! Toby & Brayden quietly snuck in to weigh in with only six fish but end up dominating Lake Dunlap by 3pounds! Toby got on a roll by fishing a TX Rigged worm around deeper docks. The team targeted a surprisingly healthy population of Lake Dunlap largemouth on the lower end of the lake. Don't let the secret out but Dunlap is definitely back and the fish are in really good shape. Second Place went to the consistent Hill Country team of Justin Hallmark & Rafe Despain aka "Pee Paw". This team found fish on deep docks later in the day but caught a couple of shallow fish near the falls in the morning. Justin felt a bit rusty early and missed a few key fish in the morning that might have made it closer. Joe "Almost Six Pound" Sciuto caught the BIG Bass of the event early in the day on a popper. Joe's Big Bass went 5.9 lbs. Lake Travis, you are next...

Meeting:

Next meeting will be at Uncle Buck's at Bass Pro Shops in Round Rock, TX on Mon. Sept. 14, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The Big Sandy Creek Bass Club will discuss the Lake Dunlap results and details for our September tournament on Lake Travis. The last four lakes are in and what a schedule it is! Travis, Stillhouse, Lake Fork (2 Day), & Fayette County Reservoir will round out the 2026 season. BIG weights are sure to follow, will Doug's BIG Bass Of the Year hold up???
