Locals Justin Hallmark & Rafe DeSpain get it done on Inks Lake! The team's game plan was to fish feeding flats early and once the sun got high head to the docks. The idea paid off as the team took 1st Place on Hallmark's "home" lake. Second Place went to the father and son duo of Joe & JR Sciuto! Joe said flukes and wacky rigs were the ticket to their team's success. The BIG Bass of the event came down JR's 4.8 lber. being narrowly defeated by Hallmark's bass that weighed 5.1 lbs. The teams will need some recovery and boat repair time before we head to Belton in June. Things are definitely heating up out there, so be sure to hydrate and practice good fish care habits!

Meeting:
Next meeting will be at Uncle Buck's at Bass Pro Shops in Round Rock, TX on Mon. June 1, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The Big Sandy Creek Bass Club will discuss the Inks Lake results. Details for our next tournament on Lake Belton will be reviewed & finalized. Belton, Marble Falls, & Dunlap will be the next three destinations for the BSCBC this year. Should be a fun schedule and it's good to see Lake Dunlap back in the mix. Hopefully Lake Belton will kick off the summer series with some serious schooling!
